of May. The BTM-UBS Warburg Chain Store Sales Index rose 0.1 percent in the
final week compared with the previous week.  Sales were up 3.2 percent year-
over-year. The industry will report on Thursday same-store sales for the month
of May.  It is currently expected that the group will show about 2.5 percent
year-over-year increase. Redbook said sales through the fourth week of May
were down 0.4 percent from April, but up 1.8 percent over May 2001.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P CLASS=&quot;BODY&quot;&gt;The Retail Holders Trust (Amex: RTH) is proving to be laggard in a soft
market today.  Earlier in the year the retail grouping was one of the stronger

potential support in the 92-area.  The 10-week moving average has just crossed
